Black Bears Belly
The Black Bear's Belly
Owner: Mickal Landerwood and his granddaddy, Everett Landerwood.
Description: The Black Bear’s Belly functions as the town hall, common room, tavern, and inn for the main town of Cullwood Ferry. The large wood and plaster building rests firmly on a stone foundation. Thick wooden shingles overhang the walls by 2-3 feet and provide the building a hooded appearance.
The common room/tavern is roughly 20 by 30 feet with a soaring solid beam ceiling.
Lightly decorated but with well-built furniture. The main door sits at the west side of the building.
